This is a low angle shot shot of Jason one of the main characters in Diary of the Dead, this is a rare view because he is only ever seen properly 3 times in the movie as most of it is from the view of his lense, the low angle shot shows how much control that Jason is in when it comes to what is put in the film.

This scene is one of the last, in this scene the main character is so focused on recording this event so that the whole world can see what they went through and whats going on that he is willing to let him self get killed, this is a reference to whats said all through the movie, "If it isn't on camera it's like it never even happened"

This is a long shot inorder to show the pure number of zombies in the area it also shows how all hope is lost, this is shown by no lights are on almost as if the city it's self is dead. the costumes in this scene look like outfits that normal people would wear, this reminds the audience that they were once like them.

The camera angle in this scene is a longshot, this is so that the audience can see the amount of characters on screen. The boat in this scene looks primative yet he uses it because its his chance to escape. The costumes and make up stand out and add the effect of fear.
